AAP Punjab | AAP loses its publicity in Punjab

With the massive win Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in Khadoor Sahib Assembly seat; it has been proved that there is “No Wave” at all, in favor of AAP.

What is Politics?
Politics is the bustle through which people make, preserve and sometimes modify the general rules under which they live and political parties exercise huge influence on public discourses. Political parties are style gurus of politics and their opposition to policies affects almost all state actions. Social life and economics of the state can get paralyzed by their agitations on real as well as manufactured issues.
AAP ran away from Punjab
It was during the parliamentary elections 2014, when Punjab gave the new-born party, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), its electoral debut in the Lok Sabha with four seats. AAP who at that time, had failed to put up a fight to the main contenders, has now once again left the battlefield deserted before the fight started. This has put a big question mark on the political future of AAP in Punjab. Will AAP survive in Punjab till 2017 Assembly elections?
kejriwal-muffler
People of Delhi are now fed up from daily dose of ‘bandh’ or ‘dharna’ or ‘rasta roko’ by Kejriwal-led AAP, with handful of its corrupt leaders with a Party banner and any squander slogan on their lips. AAP, in Delhi, has not shown any shame in attentively cultivating and recruiting known criminals, corrupt leaders and charlatans as well as loud scoundrels. Soft spoken and non-corrupt leaders have been thrown out of AAP, which showcased Kejriwal’s dominance.
Punjab on AAP’s wish list since 2014
10TH_KEJRIWAL_1750918g
A big victory in the Punjab assembly has been on AAP’s wish list since 2014 but now it is clear that even AAP convener Kejriwal have failed to create an impact on people of Punjab, after they ran away from by-poll elections.

Besides, Ravinder Singh Brahampura, there were rebel leaders of AAP (Sumel Singh Sidhu) and Congress (Bhupinder Singh Bittu) who were expelled from their respective parties and Sukhdev Singh, Harjit Singh and Anantjit Singh Sandhu who fought by-poll elections.
AAP who has not been able to put up united face in Punjab attacked SAD leaders through their statement, “The ground is slipping from under the SAD’s feet, as AAP is coming to Punjab”, now one should ask AAP that if they were so sure of their win then why they did not contested this election.

AAP Punjab | AAP’s U-turn on “VIP Culture”

In first 50 days of AAP govt., National convener of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal’s opportunism and contradictions came to light when there were separate entries for VIP and VVIP card holders witnessed during an event organized by AAP government to launch an anti-corruption helpline in Delhi. Picture of the VIP and VVIP parking boards outside Talkatora Stadium got viral on social media. Many of the leaders asked Kejriwal that the person who used to denounced the ‘VIP culture’ and always projected himself as a ‘common man’ and his Aam Aadmi Party as a ‘party of common man’ has taken a U-turn.

Aam Aadmi Party – Party of hypocrites

Arvind Kejriwal, who had sworn by his children to never form a political party, formed his own Aam Aadmi Party. Not only this, but he had also broken the promise which he had made on record to not tie up with any other political party especially Congress. It is a well known fact that this man took support from Congress Party to become Chief Minister of Delhi.
The man who assured people of Delhi that he will have ‘No Security’ but in reality is enjoying ‘Z category’ security cover, with more than 30 armed commandoes and a huge convoy and entire government machinery at his disposal.

Kejriwal, who had promised NOT to use a government car ever, is now travelling in an SUV bearing number 0001 of Delhi govt. He had protested use of private planes by politicians but in reality after becoming Delhi CM started using private jets for his own comfort. Kejriwal has moved in to a grand bungalow which is spread over eight acres and includes five bedrooms, office room, two large lawns, a garden, three servant quarters and parking. Kejriwal, who talked about making Delhi “India’s first corruption-free state", has failed to even take hard-hitting action against the corrupt leaders of AAP or offenders.

AAP Punjab | Big CNG scam behind odd-even policy alleges of aam aadmi party CM

Bhavna Arora, the girl who threw ink on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, while he was addressing “thanksgiving” rally after successful culmination of Odd-Even scheme, alleged a “big CNG scam” behind Odd-Even scheme.
“The odd-even rule was positive, but behind that there is a big CNG Scam, of which I had a sting. To expose the CNG scam, I tried to meet Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and transport minister Gopal Rai but they never agreed.” Bhavna told ABP News.
“Government authorised centers in Delhi gave CNG certificates on motorcycle’s number. I did a sting on it. I went to two such centers, both centers approved CNG certificates on motorcycle’s number. If this is what they did, they might have also given CNG certificates to vehicles running on diesel and petrol,”

she said.
“It takes around one hour to test a cylinder but centers did the testing within 10 minutes. I did this sting two months ago,” she added.
Reacting to this AAP leader Alka Lamba said If Bhavna has done a sting then let her provide that CD to media, if she is truthful.
“I appreciate if she is fighting against corruption. Bhavna can meet me, produce proofs that support her claims of CNG scam in Delhi. We will look into it,” AAP MLA said.
Bhavna Arora appeared in Rohini court today. She was sent to one-day police custody.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and the Aam Aadmi Party accused the BJP and Delhi Police of conspiring to attack Kejriwal.
Alleging that the ink attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was scripted by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with the help of Delhi Police, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday said the “Saffron Party can even get Kejriwal murdered”.
“The whole incident was scripted by the BJP with the help of the Delhi Police. The BJP can even get the Chief Minister murdered,”

 he said.
“The incident shows that the Delhi Police are ready for a deadly attack on Kejriwal. Police are not even concerned about the safety of the Chief Minister and the people of the city,” he added.

AAP Punjab | Then why Four AAP candidates run away from big-ticket fights

Tripathi’s withdrawal is a blow to AAP since he was responsible for bringing to light an alleged scam regarding purchase of equipment for the differently-abled by Khurshid-led Zakir Hussain Trust

In a fresh setback to Aam Aadmi Party, four candidates including those pitted against high-profile opponents like central ministers Salman Khurshid and Sachin Pilot withdrew nominations on Monday citing lack of party support or alleging corruption in the party.

Candidates from Farukkhabad, Etah and Agra in Uttar Pradesh and Ajmer in Rajasthan withdrew, giving credence to criticism that the party had spread itself too thin and was unable to offer significant support to its candidates or has not been able to vet them adequately.

The withdrawals come after AAP expelled some UP activists following allegations of bribes being sought for tickets and an uneven response to the party's national campaign apart from some exceptions like Chandigarh.

Journalist-turned-social activist Mukul Tripathi, contesting against foreign minister Salman Khurshid, withdrew his candidature saying, "I have returned the ticket and left the party as I am not getting any support from the organization... There is corruption in the internal organization.''

He claimed that his attempts to reach AAP leader Sanjay Singh proved futile and he had spent money out of his own pocket.

Tripathi's withdrawal is a blow to AAP since he was responsible for bringing to light an alleged scam regarding purchase of equipment for the differently-abled by Khurshid-led Zakir Hussain Trust. Others like Dilip Yadav from Etah, Ravinder Singh from Agra and Ajay Somani from Ajmer have also dropped out.

AAP sources said this had led to serious concern within the party about ticket distribution. "This has become a shortcoming of the party due to shortage of time and haste. We need systemic reform but that can be done only after the elections,'' the leader said. Sources said in some cases the party had received complaints about the candidate's image after public scrutiny and had asked the person to withdraw.

When asked if the party was indeed worried about the recent dropouts, AAP leader Manish Sisodia said, "We had publicly announced that we would not be able to provide financial support or resources to candidates. It is an election of the aam aadmi and those who feel they cannot challenge the status quo can leave. This is the new kind of politics.''

On the issue of complaints against party's candidates like Khaled Parvez who was given a ticket from Moradabad and were later asked to leave, another AAP leader Prashant Bhushan said, "We will cancel tickets of candidates if we receive complaints even at the last minute. We would much rather let the seat go vacant.'' AAP also had to expel Awadh convener Aruna Singh following complaints of corruption in ticket distribution.

AAP Punjab | AAP infiltrated by Khalistani separatists

AAP infiltrated by Khalistani separatists? Why is Arvind Kejriwal silent?

When senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Prashant Bhushan spoke in support of Kashmiri separatists, party supremo Kejriwal was quick to term it as Bhushan’s “personal views”, but he has maintained a strategic silence on the issue of party leaders supporting Khalistani separatists.
Khalistan movement refers to a hardline Sikh demand for a separate country for Sikhs. This demand has never found popular support among common Sikhs as they feel that their interests are well protected within India. However, this movement has always found support from Pakistan.
Khalistan movement was at peak during Indira Gandhi regime with likes of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale leading an armed struggle. But it slowly fizzled out thanks to nationalist Sikhs in Army and politics, who could save India from another partition.
But the movement still finds some support among some areas in Punjab. Earlier this year, pro-Khalistani outfits had declared support to AAP during the Lok Sabha elections.
And it worked. The only seats AAP could win anywhere in the country were in Punjab.
But questions should be asked if AAP is playing a dangerous game by going soft on Khalistani separatists for electoral gains?
Although AAP chief Kejriwal has never made a categorical statement about relationship between pro-Khalistani outfits and AAP, he could argue that he can’t stop anyone from supporting him.
Just like Congress supported AAP during Delhi government formation in December 2013 without AAP asking for it openly, Kejriwal could claim that pro-Khalistani outfits supported AAP in a similar manner.
But now Arvind Kejriwal can’t afford to remain silent on this issue.

A photograph released by Tajinder Singh Bagga of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena (see the tweet above) shows Jarnail Singh, an AAP leader who was a candidate from West Delhi in the 2014 general elections, addressing rally of Khalistan supporters.
As one can clearly see, the rally has posters demanding a separate Sikh homeland of Khalistan, and thus it is asking for division of India. An unconstitutional and dangerous demand.
The rally took place on 5 June 2011 in London, as confirmed by Bagga to OpIndia.com and it raises serious issues about relationship between pro-Khalistan movement and AAP.
Will AAP remain silent for electoral gains even if it means that the unity and sovereignty of the country is weakened?
Khalistani movement has been supported by Pakistan, which also supports Kashmiri separatist movement. Isn’t AAP playing into the hands of Pakistan by going soft on such issues?
In fact, it raises serious questions if Pakistan could be funding some of these activities. One is forced to link it with the fact that AAP doesn’t show Pakistan as a country in its donations list.
Check out this official online form for donation to AAP. It shows all countries in the drop-down list except Pakistan. It doesn’t mean that people from Pakistan can’t donate to AAP (nowhere on the website it asks those living in Pakistan to stay away).
It means that people residing in Pakistan will have to choose some other country while making the donation, which means that the donations from Pakistan will be a non-transparent process. This comes from a party that asks for transparency in all walks of public life. Why is AAP afraid of disclosing donations received from Indians living in Pakistan?
AAP should come clean on these issues that hint at the party going soft on Pakistan backed groups such as Kashmiri separatists by Prashant Bhushan and Khalistani separatists by Jarnail Singh.
In fact, this is not only going soft on Khalistanis, but now it’s about sharing stage with Khalistanis after this exposé by Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena.
An AAP leader is seen making demands to break up the country, and the party chief Arvind Kejriwal must speak up now. Read More

AAP Punjab | Fake Anti Corruption Data Exposed of AAP

New Delhi: The Delhi government's anti-corruption helpline '1031' has received 282 calls up to May 13, an RTI query has revealed.

The Right to Information (RTI), filed by Advocate Vivek Garg, also revealed that seven cases have been registered on receipt of complaints through the anti-corruption helpline.

"(Arvind) Kejriwal's government is trying to mislead the people by giving wrong figures. If his government had claimed that the anti-corruption helpline had received over 1 lakh calls within a month, why did the anti corruption branch in its RTI reply state that it has received only 282 calls till now," Garg told IANS.

On being asked about the contradictory figures, a senior official from the Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) said, "The figures were only about the calls that we received.... not every call was relating to corruption."

According to the Delhi government, its anti corruption helpline had received over 1.25 lakh calls since its relaunch on April 5 this year and 25 erring officials have been arrested.

The advocate had also sought to know from the Delhi government's ACB which company was operating the helpline and what it was costing the government to operate such a helpline.

The ACB replied to these questions by stating that the information sought did not relate to it. "Hence the same may be sought from the directorate of vigilance of the Delhi government."

However Alarming it might be Bussiness Standard reports have a different story, who is lying? who is misleading? who is hiding the truth?

Delhi Govt.'s anti-corruption helpline buzzes with 1.25 lakh calls
The anti-corruption helpline launched by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal last month has received 1.25 lakh calls till now.
At least 6,000 telephone calls met the minimum requirements of being pursued by the anti-corruption helpline, while 252 calls were marked to the Anti-Corruption Branch.
Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia had launched the '1031' helpline at the Talkatora stadium in the national capital on April 5.
The anti-graft helpline can attend 10,000 calls per day.
